A nocturnal——in the Bartókian sense——study on perfect unisons and microtonal deviations through ornamentation. It can be thought as a macroscopic bisbigliando embodied by the ensemble as a whole. Debussy-inflected harmonies permeate the end, which
contrasts with the glacial, static sonority of the first two thirds of the Nocturn.
